» I am a female photographer born in Yokohama, Japan and spent my childhood at the International school. Those circumstances and experiences brought a better mutual understanding of world culture to me. I am fluent in Japanese, English, have knowledge of Spanish.
» I graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Design, Tokyo, Japan. (Field of Specialization: Graphic Design. Degree; Bachelor of Fine Arts.) My graduation work was granted the Dean Prize of the Nihon University College of Art. During attendance at collage, in Asahi Newspaper Company; Tokyo, Japan, I worked as a part-time photographer for “SEVEN”, an informative newspaper for the youths.
» At Studio Give Co., Tokyo, Japan, I worked as a designer for editorial designing. Specialized in composing designs covers for books, and magazines.
» I graduated from the International Center of Photography (ICP), NYC, USA.; One-year certificate program in General Studies 2005-2006. From ICP I received a Director’s Fund Scholarship for the project “Distancia Final”.
Mostly, I focus on light and shadow which are latent in peoples mind in the world.
Also I attended to an Internship at the ICP library. During my photography studies, I participated in contemporary art-world video media called [PAM], connected to the International art fairs of video and media, SCOPE. My documentary short films were exhibited in Lincoln Center, NYC.
